Respeak Acceptable Use Policy
This English version is a translation of the Chinese Acceptable Use Policy provided for convenience. If the two versions differ, the Chinese version prevails.
This policy is part of the Terms of Use and lists what you may not use Respeak (www.getspeakeys.com, the "Service") for. The Service is only for fixing individual sentences in your own recordings. If you breach this policy, we may act as described in Section 8.
1. Your own voice only
- "Original voice" may only be used with your own voice. It may not be used with anyone else's voice, including family, colleagues, clients, guests and public figures, even with their consent or authorization.
- Do not upload or process recordings you have no right to use, and do not use the Service to imitate, clone or recreate another person's voice.
- Do not generate content using the voice of a minor.
2. No sexual or NSFW content
- Do not generate, edit or distribute pornographic, obscene or sexually suggestive content (NSFW).
- Any sexual content involving minors is strictly prohibited; it leads to immediate account termination and a report to the authorities as required by law.
3. No harmful content
- harassing, threatening, intimidating, bullying or stalking anyone;
- hateful, discriminatory or insulting content based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar characteristics;
- promoting, glorifying or inciting violence, terrorism, extremism, self-harm or suicide;
- defaming anyone, or infringing their reputation, privacy, portrait, voice, intellectual property or other legal rights;
- any other content prohibited by law, or content that endangers national security or the public interest.
4. No non-consensual content
- creating, altering or distributing content involving another person without their consent, including making them "say" things they never said;
- publishing another person's personal information, private conversations or recordings without consent;
- content used to take revenge on, humiliate or coerce anyone.
5. No deception, impersonation or fabrication
- impersonating another person, or making content appear to come from someone else;
- fraud or extortion, including voice scams that pose as relatives, customer service or institutions;
- fabricating evidence, testimony, calls or recordings for litigation, investigations, transactions or other deceptive purposes;
- creating or spreading false information or rumours, speaking in the name of public figures or institutions, or manipulating elections or public opinion;
- fake product endorsements, recommendations or reviews.
6. Do not remove AI labels
Do not remove, alter, forge or conceal the AI-generated content labels the Service adds (the label in the file metadata, and the audio cue when added at export), nor provide tools or help for others to remove them. When publishing audio containing AI-synthesized content, declare and label it as required; see Section 6 of the Terms of Use.
7. No abuse of the Service
- attacking, disrupting or reverse-engineering the Service, or bypassing access controls, rate limits, billing or the consent confirmation;
- calling the Service automatically at scale, or reselling or sub-licensing it;
- using the Service to spread malware or spam.
8. Enforcement
When we find or receive a report of a breach, we may take one or more of the following measures as appropriate: a warning; deleting the recordings and generated content concerned; suspending features such as original voice; suspending or closing the account; keeping the relevant records and reporting to and cooperating with the authorities. In serious cases or where a crime is suspected, we may act immediately without prior notice. You are responsible for the consequences of breaching this policy.
9. Reporting
If you find someone using the Service to impersonate your voice, create the prohibited content above or otherwise infringe your rights, please email lynxzhang1988@gmail.com, with relevant links and evidence where possible. We normally handle and reply to reports within 15 business days.
